60s Nostalgia Test:
- The media of the 60’s has an almost iconic yellow orange tint to it. It seems to always be a battle between blue and orange.
- Lighter colors became washed out and grey.
- The 60’s had a look of high contrast, while still never reaching full white or black.
- Film noise seems to be a continuing ingredient in achieving visual nostalgia.
- There continued to be a style of art and clothing very similar to 50’s “perfection”. But the 60’s are much more memorable for the style that was in defiance of that. The counter culture, eccentric, hippy/activist style.
I tried to not spend as much time on this one, it’s supposed to be practice. I also wanted to emulate the memory of the time period. Not the art from the decade.
